FCI Jesup Scheduling Procedures

Upcoming Appointment Date

The next available appointment date is Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

Appointments at FCI Jesup are available only once per month, on the second Wednesday of each month. Due to facility limitations and scheduling requirements, additional appointment dates cannot be accommodated. We respectfully request that clients plan accordingly, as no exceptions can be made.

Booking Deadline

To secure an appointment for July 8, 2026, all booking requests and payments must be received no later than:

Friday, July 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM EST

Requests received after the scheduling deadline will not be accepted.

Payment Requirements

Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve an appointment.

Most facility appointments are scheduled under our Mobile Notary Service Package ($50), which includes:

  • Travel to and from the facility

  • Time spent onsite

  • Up to two notarized documents

Additional services are available for an additional fee. Exclusions may apply.

For scheduled services, a 3% processing fee applies to electronic card payments. This fee reflects our payment processing costs and is not a profit-generating charge.

Payment Method

Once your appointment request has been reviewed, an invoice will be sent via email. Payments may be submitted securely through the invoice using a valid debit or credit card.

Information Required to Schedule an Appointment

Please provide the following information via email:

  • First and last name of resident of the facility

  • BOP Register Number

  • Number of notarizations requested

  • Whether witnesses are required and, if so, how many

  • Whether document printing services are needed

  • Whether shipping services are requested

Invoice Information

To receive an invoice, please provide:

  • Full name of the individual responsible for payment

  • Email address of the individual responsible for payment

Once all information has been received and reviewed, an invoice will be issued.

Please do not request an invoice unless you are prepared to complete payment.

Incomplete requests may delay processing and scheduling.

Appointment Policies

Appointment Scheduling

  • If the facility scheduling deadline is missed, no exceptions can be made.

  • All unpaid invoices are automatically canceled daily at 6:00 PM.

  • Late booking fees are not offered or accepted.

Cancellation Policy

  • A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may not be eligible for a refund.

  • Missed appointments and no-shows will result in the incarcerated individual being automatically placed on the following months scheduled appointment list. No refunds. No additional fees due.

Identification Requirements

  • A valid facility-issued identification card is required for all appointments.

  • Failure to present required identification may result in cancellation of services.

Service Refusal Policy

Black Pearl Signature Services reserves the right to refuse service at its sole discretion to maintain safety, professionalism, compliance with applicable laws, and the integrity of our services.

Refund Policy

As a service-based business, our fees reflect not only the services provided, but also the time, travel, scheduling accommodations, preparation, and administrative resources dedicated to each client request. For this reason, refunds are generally not offered.

In the rare event that a refund is approved at our sole discretion, it will be issued in the form of a Gift Voucher or Service Credit for future use. This approach allows us to continue providing exceptional service while recognizing the time and resources reserved on behalf of our clients.

Why We Schedule Appointments Via Email

As mobile service providers serving Southeast Georgia, much of our time is spent traveling between appointments and assisting clients in person. Additionally, appointments are often scheduled weeks in advance.

For these reasons, appointment requests and scheduling communications should be submitted via email whenever possible. Written communication allows us to accurately reference appointment details, maintain scheduling records, and ensure requests are handled efficiently.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you provide a copy of the incarcerated individual's facility-issued ID?

No. Any copies needed must be requested by the incarcerated individual through their assigned counselor, who can provide guidance and assistance with the process.

How are appointments scheduled?

Appointments are limited and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can you tell me which documents I need or help me complete them?

No. Notaries cannot select, prepare, or advise on documents. Clients are responsible for determining which forms are needed and ensuring documents are completed before the appointment.

What happens if a document is lost?

We do not retain copies of client documents. A new appointment must be scheduled and applicable fees will apply.

Who may utilize these services?

Services are available to individuals housed at FCI Jesup, FSL Jesup, and FPC Jesup, subject to facility approval and availability.

What happens if the facility is on lockdown?

If the facility is on lockdown during a scheduled appointment, access may be denied and the appointment will be rescheduled for the next available date.

What if the incarcerated individual is housed in the SHU?

If housed in the Special Housing Unit (SHU), services cannot be performed. The appointment will automatically be rescheduled for the next available date at no additional charge.

What happens if an appointment is missed?

If we are unable to complete an appointment due to facility-related circumstances, it will generally be rescheduled for the next available service date without additional fees.

How do wedding services work?

Wedding appointments are limited to marriage license signing and related notarial services. Facility personnel collect and return completed licenses to the appropriate court. Online wedding license submission is available on the Wayne County Probate Clerk’s website.

Please provide:

  • Full name of both spouses

  • BOP ID Number

For wedding license information for those outside of Wayne County, GA, please contact your local county probate court clerk’s office for guidance on marrying an incarcerated individual.

Are specific appointment times provided?

No. Appointment times are not released prior to the scheduled date due to facility security and operational requirements. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Can you notify me when the appointment has been completed?

No. Given the volume of inquiries we manage and the nature of our mobile service operations, individual appointment completion notifications are not provided. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Why did I receive shipping tracking information before the appointment occurred?

Shipping labels are often prepared prior to the scheduled appointment, which may trigger automated tracking notifications before services have been completed. Receiving a tracking email does not indicate that an appointment has occurred or that services have been finalized. For your convenience, we encourage you to save all tracking correspondence, as it contains important information that may be useful for future reference and delivery updates.
